What (the Hell) to Expect

Today on whattoexpect.com I read that it takes a healthy 25 year old an average of 6 MONTHS to get pregnant! I am 30 and I'm starting to worry a little. Please leave me a comment...How long did it take you to conceive, or how long have you been trying?

I know it's hard not to worry, but every woman is different. That's why I don't read too much into what the "statistics" say. LOL I have 5 children, and it always seemed that when we "weren't" trying....that's when I got pregnant. :) Just relax and take it one day at a time, and when you least expect it to happen, it will. LOL

With our first it took a year and with the second it took about 7 months. I got pregnant right after I quit a stressful job so try and relax and not stress to much, I know that's easier said than done.

I read the same thing! I was 28 and on birth control. So when I saw that I immediately got off. Well, one month later (way earlier than I expected) I was pregnant. Needless to say, you can't believe everything you read! LOL

Good luck with everything! I'll be reading!

I always took my prenatal vitamins at night. Any other time and I'd feel sick also. So strange that something that's supposed to be good for you makes you sick!

With my last pregnancy it took me over 6 mos if I remember. Was very hard to deal with because I thought I had a super uterus. Apparently not!!! I know our situations are different, but the waiting doesn't change how we feel. It's not easy.

Blessings,

It really does vary from woman to woman. It took us two months to conceive the first time and our second was a surprise baby. The important thing is to try not to stress about it to much which I know is so hard. It will happen! Now following from MBC
