How I got 180 diapers for under $2!

I have found that Amazon is the absolute best place to buy discount diapers online. I recently ordered 180 Pampers Swaddlers diapers and paid only $1.86! No tax, shipping was FREE and they arrived in two days. Here's how to get the best diaper deals online with Amazon:

1. Sign up for an Amazon Mom membership. It's absolutely free, and you automatically get 15% off diapers and wipes, plus tons of other baby discounts. Plus, you get a free 3-month Amazon Prime membership (normally $79 per year). This gets you free two-day shipping on any Amazon products. And every time you spend $25 in one purchase, you get another month added to your Amazon Prime membership.

2. Choose your diapers or wipes. Make sure you are logged in so that your Amazon mom discount is applied. Before adding your diapers to your shopping cart, click the "Subscribe and Save" option on the right side of the page. This will save you an additional 15% (bringing your total savings to 30% off!) .

The "Subscribe and Save" option allows you to choose if you want Amazon to automatically send you (and bill you for) these diapers every 1 month, 2 months, etc. Don't worry! As soon as your order ships, log into your account and cancel your subscription...it's that simple! I've ordered 2 different kinds of diapers and I've been able to easily cancel each subscription after they've shipped.

3. If you are expecting a baby or if you already have a baby, you have likely seen offers for free subscriptions to baby magazines. Sign up for as many of these as you can! Amazon often has 20% off diaper coupons in magazines like Baby Talk, American Baby, Parents, and Parenting the Early Years. I also found a $10 off coupon in a March 2011 issue! Best of all, Amazon will continue to honor these coupons for months after they expire!

I was able to use 2 of the 20% off coupons on my order. You can stack the coupons as long as they do not have the same first two letters. Look for a YT and a YJ code, for example. The 20% off is applied to the original price, not the discounted Amazon mom/Subscribe and Save price!

I also used the $10 off coupon I found. All 3 of my coupons were actually expired, and Amazon honored all three! Here is the actual invoice from my order:

Amazon Prime Member

Items: $39.54
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Promotion Applied -$7.91
Promotion Applied -$10.00
Promotion Applied -$7.91
Subscription Discount -$11.86

Total Before Tax: $1.86
Estimated Tax:$0.00
Order Total: $1.86

So...180 diapers for $1.86 = about $0.01 per diaper!
